A job dictionary is the compilation of the physical demands of all jobs within an organisation. It is an integral part of effective injury prevention and management program. It is created following a job analysis of each job or task in a workplace, and is performed by a physiotherapist or occupational therapist.
A CHG job dictionary is written in clear, easy to understand text with photos used to illustrate work postures and work environment well. A job dictionary is an excellent tool to assist the employer or return to work coordinator (RTWC) in their discussion with a treating medical practitioner regarding allocating suitable duties for an injured worker. It is a valuable reference toll for the development of a graduated return to work plan (GRTWP), and is an asset for helping your injured workers to safely stay at work or return to work as soon as reasonably practicable.
